Welcome to Accel AgroBiogas
Accel AgroBiogas is an innovative project focused on developing sustainable solutions to increase biogas production in the Öresund region. In close collaboration with farmers and the biogas industry, we work to utilise agricultural resources in an efficient and sustainable way. We test new methods for using crop residues from cereals, rapeseed, legumes, sugar beets, and cover crops as biogas substrates, creating new business opportunities for both farmers and biogas companies.
With a focus on optimising biomass utilisation, sustainable logistics, and biodiversity, we strengthen not only biogas production but also the role of agriculture in the green transition. By developing and implementing innovative cropping concepts and agricultural by-products, we are helping to shape the sustainable energy solutions of the future.

– Test and develop new solutions
In our Living Labs, we test different methods for using agricultural by-products as biogas substrates. Here we gather and share results from these trials to build knowledge and experience for the entire sector. By working under real field conditions, we ensure that the solutions we develop are both practical and sustainable.
