Biomass for biogas in focus at Madsen Bioenergi

Accel AgroBiogas brings together experiences, results, and new perspectives on biomass for biogas.

On Wednesday, June 3, project partners, researchers, and stakeholders from agriculture and the biogas sector will gather at Madsen Bioenergi I/S for a workshop focused on biomass for biogas and the development of more sustainable solutions in practice.

During the day, the latest results from field trials at Aarhus University will be presented, along with experiences of using grass for biogas and upcoming project activities and trials. Experiences from Sweden will also be shared, where new biomass sources such as potato tops are being investigated for biogas production.

The programme also provides space for professional discussions on both practical experiences and the policy frameworks that influence the development of the biogas sector.

The day concludes with a visit to Boe Madsen’s biogas plant, focusing on practical solutions and operational experiences.

Accel AgroBiogas works to strengthen the production and utilisation of sustainable biomass for biogas through collaboration between research and practice.
