Field Note: Forsøg med græs til biogas

Grass cultivation can both reduce nitrogen leaching and provide biomass that can be used for biogas production, for example. However, it is important to understand how fertilization affects the methane potential of grass and the methane yield per hectare in order to achieve the best possible balance between environmental benefits, energy production and economic viability. These aspects are being investigated in field trials during 2026.
